Today, we’re going to give you eight good reasons (plus a bonus reason) to book a holiday with kids in July in Bibione or Caorle.
With fine sand on broad beaches that slope gently down into the safe water, Bibione seems like it’s made to measure for youngsters. Here’s what you can find there:
Free entertainment, workshops and sporting activities are often available at the kids clubs, which are some of the safest and most popular in the Northern Adriatic.
One of the best spots is the Valgrande Park: a 360-hectare conservation area where you can see herons, wild horses and deer. Take your kids on an adventure and make them feel like real explorers!
There’s a well-organized network of clearly marked cycle paths throughout the town. You can choose to ride along the seafront or follow a route that will take you to Bibione lighthouse, where the Tagliamento river meets the sea.
As we said, Bibione is family-friendly! Head to the Luna Park Adriatico amusement park, Acquasplash water park or Punta Verde Wildlife Park and your kids will have a whale of a time!
Caorle is a cosier, more compact place, but it’s just as suitable for families. Traditional coloured houses line the streets in the fully pedestrianized historic centre, which is the perfect place to take an evening stroll and cool down with an ice cream.

One unmissable sight to see during your family holiday is Caorle’s “open-air museum”, where the rocks have been carved into sculptures. Young and old alike will appreciate the art on display.
As in Bibione, there are plenty of places to keep kids entertained, including the unmissable Gomma Piuma play area just a stone’s throw from the beach. Parents can relax as their children have endless fun bouncing on the inflatables.
Choose between the Levante (East) and Ponente (West) beaches. Both have golden sand, shallow water, entertainment and nurseries.
Every day, boats leave the town and take passengers on trips around the lagoon, where they can explore the incredible natural environment and admire the incomparable scenery.
