At the end of October, there is one weekend when Bibione’s beach completely changes its appearance.
No beach umbrellas. Instead, motorcycles, quads, jumps, speed, and the roar of engines.
From 23 to 25 October 2026, Piazzale Zenith will host the Bibione Sand Storm, the Italian round of the FIM Sand Races World Championship: three days dedicated to international motorsport on sand. Admission to the event is free.
At the heart of the event are motorcycle and quad races, bringing international riders to the beach to compete in world championship rounds.
But the Bibione Sand Storm is not designed exclusively for motorsport enthusiasts.
The programme transforms the Piazzale Zenith area into a true entertainment village featuring freestyle shows, paddocks, exhibitions, street food, music, and activities for children.

On Saturday, the Adrenaline Continues After Sunset
One of the most spectacular moments of the weekend takes place on Saturday evening.
On 24 October, after the day’s races and freestyle performances, the Night Race begins at 6:00 PM: practice sessions, qualifying rounds, and races continue under the lights on the sand until the final, followed by a DJ set in Piazzale Zenith.
A beach usually associated with sunshine and relaxation becomes the stage for a completely different kind of spectacle.
Throughout the weekend, several side events are planned, making the Sand Storm appealing to a wider audience.
These include freestyle shows, Mototherapy with Vanni Oddera, activities for young riders, the paddock area, the exhibition village, and street food. The official programme also includes panoramic helicopter and hot-air balloon experiences.
The result is a weekend where sport, entertainment, and excitement bring new energy to the beach long after the summer season has ended.
